rZr being a lonely child needed a way to express his emotions. Without any friends to tell his emotions to, at the age of 12(2005) he ended up writing about how he felt on a daily basis. He started listening to Skwatta Kamp. He used to perform their songs in the bedroom in front of the mirror and that is when it hit him. He later decided to voice out his own lyrics.
Mpumelelo Tshabalala also known as “rZr” is a Hip Hop artist with a unique ability to fuse great lyricism with the latest trending hip hop sounds, making music that is current without compromising the core of hip hop by bagging great lyricism. Growing in Soweto where many great musicians come from, he’s influence into music was the jazz records his father used to play in the house, that is how his love of music was born.
